No wonder you're in pain. Don't go creaming your stomach like that.

Guess you ought to chill out then. Hope it gets better an' all.

"You say that like you know what a kick to the stomach actually feels like...

"So. Do you, in fact?" Maria blinks curiously at this young woman, and then, of course, her natural empathy takes over, and she trips over her own tongue to add quickly: "What's wrong, anyway?"
aphotic_auror: (But we are the ones who don't slow down)

"I'm sorry; you're quite right, really. I mean, sorry for saying it like that..."

Maria winces empathetically at the young woman. "Sorry to hear that... Do you need-- I dunno-- a Peptic Potion, or summat?"
aphotic_auror: (I'm forced to hide?)

It was a slip of the tongue, really; she's far more accustomed to referencing "potions" and "tisanes" than "medicines" and "medications", but still-- she offers the other young woman a slightly dazed smile as she brings up the "Pepto". "Isn't that what I suggested? I can go fetch it for you, right fast...?"
